In most cases, larger prints are preferred for exhibition.

Personal collection prints can be smaller, if desired. Framing will always be extra.

I M A G E   S I Z E S

Abstractions can be printed in a wide range of sizes, but larger sizes (24" square and up) are recommended. I would like to see these printed wall-size, but have not tested this yet. The effective minimum size for these images is 12" square. The originals are digital files.

Stories/Portraits have some limitations in size. Festival Stories are intended to be smaller, more intimate prints (approximately 8 x 10). Dream Stories should not be printed larger than 24" square. Portrait Stories were originally shot on medium format film and then scanned. Their effective maximum size has not been determined. They work quite well at smaller (8x8) sizes.

Figure Studies: The gum bichromate prints are fixed in size and are one-of-a-kind. They are all about 20" x 24". All color figure studies are digital and can be printed quite large. Most are also effective at smaller sizes. Classic black and white figures studies include a mix of 35mm film and digital negatives. The film images will get quite grainy past 16" x 20". Digital images can be printed considerably larger.
